not to mention i almost couldn’t contain myself even being in the same room as crystal. i’ve looked up to her for so long, it took so much restraint not to squeal like a little girl when she first walked in.

just watched cedar lake rehearse their new piece grace engine by crystal pite. it’s so beautiful … but it’s also kind of disturbing. like, you want to look away but you can’t. i don’t know, i can’t really explain it. i just know i had chills the entire time, and found myself tearing up at certain parts. and that was just a run through.

i’m so glad my other roommate is finally here. tonight we’ve stayed up until 3 am doing nothing but eating pancakes, watching scary movies, and laughing about the stupidest things. it’s pretty great.
