just watched cedar lake rehearse their new piece grace engine by crystal pite.  it’s so beautiful … but it’s also kind of disturbing.  like, you want to look away but you can’t.  i don’t know, i can’t really explain it.  i just know i had chills the entire time, and found myself tearing up at certain parts.  and that was just a run through.
